Work Trip

Last Wednesday some of us guys from office headed down to Vegas for the A4M convention. A4M is short for Anti Aging. Not quite sure were the 4 comes in but it's there.

We always fly wherever we go when we go to a show and yes that includes Vegas..the whole flight takes maybe I think it was 48 minutes, including take off and landing lol. We landed spent like years trying to get our luggage. Vegas is crazy, the airport is huge and there is tons of trains and all sorts of stuff. We got to the Mandalay Bay put up our booth and walked around for a few hours in the hotel. That hotel is amazing, so many cool things are going on at that like pretty much the same time! The buffet there was pretty dang good, we ate probably way too much food the entire trip but it was awesome and totally worth the trips down the strip that we made to work off all the extra weight. Was the food worth it? Heck yea. The show was actually pretty fun the first day, I love going to the shows, it always gives e a chance to talk to my clients face to face and to meet knew ones. The A4M show is even better because you get to talk to doctors, and they actually know what they are talking about when they come up to you and they just aren't there for all the free samples and things that we pass out at the show. I also learn a lot of things when I talk to them. Also a lot of them are complete wackos, I had a person come up to me that looked like a women till she opened her mouth....wow....scary...also her face and other features proved her to be a man. Turns out she was a plastic surgeon...I know that people always say practice what you preach but dang....thats going a little too far. The night of the first show some of the group wanted to go to the boot barn to look at over 8 thousand pairs of boots...yes thats right 8 thousand pairs of boots....well there was no way I was gonna go sit there and look at cowboy boots for 10 minutes let alone the amount of time that 8 thousand pair of boots would take to look through. So I spent some time looking around the Casino, wanted to go to the Aquarium that they had there but it wasnt open anymore. So I decided to drop by the Chris Angel Mind Freak Show. It was amazing, I have always liked watching his show but to be able to see the man in person it was pretty incredible for a magic show. The tickets were super expensive so I just bought the cheapest ticket I could find and went to the show. They have people taking tickets at pretty much every door there that want to show you were to go to get to your seat, so I went up to the lady showed her my ticket told her I was by myself and she told me to take a seat and she would see what she could do for me. I was there playing with my water bottle for about 20 minutes, when she came up and was like well patients pays off, how does the 3 row from the stage sound? I was pretty excited...those seats were almost 150 bucks and I payed 65. It was so cool to see the show up that close. He is a pretty amazing Magician for what magic is. I was just in awe for most of the show, he did some things that you just cant explain and then it hit me.....he sold his soul to the devil, nuff said.

The show the next day was a little bit longer and more and more strange people came by with the nice ones that made me feel smart after I answered all their questions about certain things. Like I said I learned a lot during this show, so much things that will help me in this feild and talk to more of my clients. That night we ate some food and just kinda chilled, the show went later then the day before so we decided not to do much that night...I did break down and try my chance at he slots one time. My dad and me were talking about it last year and he was like just get it out of your system, but learn when to stop, so I looked in my walet to see if I had any spare cash on me because I didn't want to put my card in the stupid machines to waste even more money. I had 3 bucks in my walet and went to one of the coin machines....stuck in the three bucks and tried my luck. 20 minutes later I walked away with 150 bucks, probably not the best thing to learn on your first time gambling, but it was pretty awesome..Not that I will ever put any money in any of those machines ever again. We met up for dinner and went over to get some tickets for the show that we wanted to see the next night.

We went to Cirq De Solei show over at one of the hotels and it was an incredible show...seriously words cant describe how awesome this show was. The whole program was something that I had never seen before, the acrobatics and stunts that were done at this show was absolutely insane...some things I had never seen ever in my life...I've always had a dream of doing something like that and being able to see it was just awesome..All in all besides the crazy lady at the airport on the way home that if I went into detail about I would probably explode the whole trip was pretty awesome. I learned a lot saw some great shows and it really was nice to be away from the ex situation that had happened the day before we left on the trip....
